The Schulenburg Shorthorns's three-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They took down Louise 43-24. The victory was just what Schulenburg needed coming off of a 62-30 loss in their prior contest.
Leading Schulenburg to victory were Kaylee Beyer and Alana Herzik. Beyer scored six points along with five rebounds and four steals, while Herzik scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Schulenburg's win bumped their record up to 6-23. As for Louise, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Ganado the next time they take the court. Schulenburg will head out to face Ganado at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Louise will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
