Last Friday, Grove City didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Westerville Central, but they still walked away with a 60-54 win.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grove City to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kraig Gilbert, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Kevin Gallagher, who scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, Pickerington North earned a 63-50 victory over Westland on Friday. Given Pickerington North's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while Westland is ranked 442nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Grove City's victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Pickerington North, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-6.
