Martins Mill had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 40.5 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 67-47 margin over the LaPoynor Flyers. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Martins Mill's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Archer Schneider, who went 11 for 17 on his way to 27 points and five boards. What's more, Schneider also racked up two steals, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jak Kinder, who posted 18 points and five rebounds.

Martins Mill's victory was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.8 points per game. As for LaPoynor, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 18-10 record this season.

Martins Mill and LaPoynor should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Martins Mill will square off against Alba-Golden at 7:45 p.m. on Friday up 1,194 places (86 vs. 1280). Martins Mill is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 73.2 points per game this season. Meanwhile, LaPoynor (ranked 526th) will meet Fruitvale (ranked 1137th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
