The Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers lost against the Calvary Christian Spartans back in December of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Waynesfield-Goshen fell to Calvary Christian 46-42. Waynesfield-Goshen has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Calvary Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zeeke Wylie, who scored 8 points along with 6 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Young, who scored 9 points.
Waynesfield-Goshen's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Calvary Christian, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Waynesfield-Goshen's road trip will continue as they head out to face New Knoxville at 7:30 p.m. on December 8th. As for Calvary Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Temple Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
