Archbishop Rummel's wide receiver is an All-Louisiana preseason selection presented by Suddenlink by Altice.
LSU is keeping many of the top high school players in state and the Tigers have a multitude of pledges on the Preseason MaxPreps All-State Football Team by Suddenlink by Altice.
Six members of the preseason first team, including the state's top two prospects: Jaquelin Roy of University Lab (Baton Rouge) and Kayshon Boutte of Westgate (New Iberia) are headed to Baton Rouge.
MaxPreps is wrapping up a series of All-State teams published over the past month in preparation for the upcoming 2019 season. The Louisiana All-State team is the final state in the series.

QB — Keilon Brown, Zachary | Sr. | 6-0 | 180
The Class 5A player of the year last season, Brown will play at Memphis next year. He threw for 2,770 yards and rushed for 1,354 yards as a junior.
QB — Caleb Holstein, St. Thomas More (Lafayette) | Sr. | 6-5 | 210
The Class 4A player of the year as a junior, Holstein led the state in passing yardage and touchdowns with 3,854 yards and 47 touchdowns. He will play at Harvard next year.
RB — Dallas Reagor, Sterlington | Sr. | 5-9 | 165
A Class 3A all-state player last year, Reagor was among the state leaders with 2,086 yards and 22 touchdowns.
RB — Ashaad Johnson, Easton (New Orleans) | Sr. | 6-0 | 200
The No. 4 overall player in Louisiana and the No. 11 running back in the nation by 247 Sports, Johnson will pay at LSU next year. Formerly known as Ashaad Clayton, Johnson was Class 4A all-state last year.
WR — Kayshon Boutte, Westgate (New Iberia) | Sr. | 6-0 | 185
Ranked as the No. 2 overall player in Louisiana and the No. 7 wide receiver in the nation, Boutte caught 43 passes for 674 yards and eight touchdowns last year. He will play at LSU next season.
WR — Ja'khi Douglas, Terrebonne (Houma) | Sr. | 5-9 | 190
Florida State landed Douglas, the No. 8 player in Louisiana by 247 Sports. He threw for 965 yards, rushed for 685 and caught 12 passes for 251 yards last year.
TE — Dustin Dyson, St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond) | Sr. | 6-4 | 210
The top-rated tight end in Louisiana by 247 Sports, Dyson will reportedly play at LSU next year.
OL — Sedrick Van Pran, Easton (New Orleans) | Sr. | 6-4 | 305
Georgia will be Van Pran's new home next year. The state's top offensive lineman is ranked as the No. 3 center in the nation by 247 Sports.
OL — Joshua Remetich, Holy Cross (New Orleans) | Sr. | 6-4 | 280
Tulane has landed the services of Remetich, a 3-star prospect that is ranked as the No. 28 player in the state by 247 Sports.
OL — Rashad Green, University Lab (Baton Rouge) | Sr. | 6-3 | 305
Green will join Remetich at Tulane next year. He ranks as the No. 50 prospect in Louisiana.
OL — Vincent Hall, Woodlawn-Shreveport | Sr. | 6-4 | 320
A two-time all-district player at Woodlawn, Hall has been a starter on the varsity since his freshman season.
OL — Cory Marshall, Northwood (Shreveport) | Sr. | 6-3 | 332
Ranked No. 57 in Louisiana by 247 Sports, Marshall has committed to play at the University of Louisiana next year.
AP — Corey Wren, John Curtis Christian (River Ridge) | Sr. | 5-9 | 170
One of the fastest players in the state with a 10.4 clocking in the 100 meters, Wren rushed for 886 yards and 10 touchdowns last year and also had a punt return for a touchdowns. He will play at Georgia next year.
K — Austin McCready, John Curtis Christian (River Ridge) | Sr. | 6-1 | 170
A former MaxPreps Sophomore All-American, McCready kicked nine field goals and converted 48-of-53 extra points as a junior.

Tulane has landed Anderson, ranked as the No. 16 player in the state by 247 Sports. He was honorable mention Class 5A all-state last year.
DL — Jacobian Guillory, Alexandria | Sr. | 6-3 | 320
LSU has also landed Guillory, the No. 5 overall player in Louisiana and the No. 12 defensive tackle in the nation. He had 38 tackles and three sacks as a junior.
LB — Kelin Burrle, Cox (Harvey) | Sr. | 6-0 | 205
A Class 4A all-state player last year, Burrle has committed to playing at University of Texas-San Antonio.
LB — Brandon Williams, Newman (New Orleans) | Sr. | 6-3 | 220
A 4-star linebacker who's ranked as the 20th best linebacker in the nation by 247 Sports.

Cooper will play at Oklahoma next year. He earned honorable mention all-state honors last year after posting 85 tackles.
DB — Brooks Miller, West Monroe | Sr. | 6-1 | 185
Miller has committed to play at Baylor next year. He was honorable mention Class 5A all-state as a junior.
DB — Major Burns, Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge) | Sr. | 6-2 | 175
The top-ranked defensive back in Louisiana by 247 Sports, Burns is the No. 6 overall player. He is headed to LSU next year.
DB — Eric Reed Jr., Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport) | Sr. | 6-1 | 200
A Class 2A all-state player, Reed had 40 tackles and 10 tackles for loss last year. He has committed to play at Ole Miss.
DB — Joel Williams, Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge) | Sr. | 6-1 | 180
Ranked as the No. 11 player in Louisiana by 247 Sports, Williams originally committed to Florida, but is now favored to be heading to Alabama.
AP — Donovan Kaufman, Archbishop Rummel (Metairie) | Sr. | 5-8 | 194
An honorable mention all-state selection, Kaufman averaged 34 yards on kickoff returns. He has committed to play at Vanderbilt.
P — Logan Klotz, Pope John Paul II (Slidell) | Sr. | 6-2 | 177
One of the top returning punters in the state, Klotz had a 41.9 yard average on 49 punts with 14 inside the 20.

The LSU-bound quarterback threw for 639 yards in one game last year and finished the season with 2,736 yards and 23 touchdowns.

Shapen begins his third season as the quarterback at Evangel Christian. Ranked as the No. 41 quarterback in the nation by 247 Sports, Shapen will play at Arizona State next year.

Williams could finish his career as one of the state's all-time leading rushers. With 2,668 yards and 32 touchdowns last year, the Class 1A all-state running back has 5,060 yards in his career.

An honorable mention Class 5A all-state selection as a junior, Moore ranks as the No. 9 player in the state. He will play at LSU next year.
