Jillian Mapes was her usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with five rebounds and four steals for Cambridge Academy. The contest was Mapes' seventh in a row with at least ten points. Indya Southerland was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Our Lady of the Rosary bumped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Cambridge Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.
Our Lady of the Rosary will look to defend their home court on Friday against Richard Winn Academy at 5:30 p.m. As for Cambridge Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Wardlaw Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
