Greencastle-Antrim has gone a perfect 10-0 against Boiling Springs recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Blue Devils will be playing at home against the Bubblers at 4:15 p.m. The timing is sure in Greencastle-Antrim's favor as the squad sits on seven straight wins at home while Boiling Springs has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
On Monday, Greencastle-Antrim made easy work of James Buchanan and carried off a 13-3 win. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by seven runs or more this season.

Paiton Gordon spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Meadow Gambacurta was a standout: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Caroline Logsdon, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Greencastle-Antrim kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March of 2024.
Meanwhile, Boiling Springs hadn't done well against Northern York recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Bubblers won by a run and slipped past the Polar Bears 4-3. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bubblers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Boiling Springs also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in: Delaney Lawyer gave up three earned runs on six hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Tess Arnold, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Kayla Fry was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Greencastle-Antrim's win bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Boiling Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.
Boiling Springs' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Greencastle-Antrim has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.5 hits per game. It's a different story for Boiling Springs, though, as they've been averaging 9.7 hits. Given Greencastle-Antrim's sizable advantage in that area, the Bubblers will need to find a way to close that gap.
