Soccer Recap: Alonso Has No Trouble Against King

Alonso kept a clean sheet against King on Friday. They blew past the King Lions 8-0. The result was nothing new for the Ravens, who have now won 11 matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

Alonso was without their leading scorer, Emery Ludlam, in Friday's game. With Ludlam sitting this one out, Ivanka Brnada got some extra time on the pitch (60 vs. her season average of 26.7). Brnada made the most of the opportunity, putting up one assist A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.

Alonso's win bumped their record up to 12-1-2. As for King, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-10-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alonso will take on Hillsborough at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alonso is facing Hillsborough at the right time seeing as Hillsborough is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for King, they will challenge Gaither at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
