Cookeville waltzed into their game on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on Rockvale with a sharp 10-4 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-5 two weeks ago.

Silas Wright looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, KJ Anderson was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. Cole Teeters was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Cookeville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive matchups.

Cookeville's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Rockvale, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.

Cookeville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Smyrna on the 15th. As for Rockvale, they have also already played their next game, an 8-1 loss against Riverdale on the 15th.
