While Marion's win against Manning wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Swamp Foxes had just enough and edged out the Monarchs 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Marion.

Marion picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-14. As for Manning, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-16.

Marion wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 4-1 defeat against Andrews on the 28th. As for Manning, they have also already played their next matchup, a 7-2 win against Calhoun County on the 18th.
