Volleyball Recap: Castle View Wins Going Away Against Rock Canyon

Castle View barely beat Rock Canyon the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Sabercats put the hurt on the Jaguars with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The Sabercats not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 1st (when they won 3-0).

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21, 25-14.

Austin Keathley paced Castle View's offense, picking up nine kills. Keathley got some help from Rowan Shaughnessy and his 15 assists.

Castle View is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Rock Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.

Looking ahead, Castle View will be taking part in a tournament against Gateway at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Rock Canyon, they will venture away from home to square off against Mountain Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight.
