4A Region II District 11 recap Oct. 30, 2012
South Oak Cliff extended the longest winning streak in 4A Region II District 11 this week by beating Adamson, 36-0. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Bears.
South Oak Cliff took down the Leopards 36-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
North Dallas's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jason Medellin threw for 156 and one touchdown and Javante Haynes had 60 yards receiving. On the ground Allen Moore chipped in 52 yards. Justin Townsend helped North Dallas' passing attack out by catching five balls for 40 yards.
North Dallas' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bulldogs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Medellin has thrown for 1239 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Jeremiah Gantt has 34 catches for 363 yards. John Jones leads the league in rushing with 653 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Kimball takes on Seagoville. The Knights are in second place, while the Dragons are in fifth place.
Seagoville led 4A Region II District 11 in scoring this week after putting up 48 points on Pinkston.
