1A District 3 recap November 5, 2013
Frankfort added to the longest winning streak in 1A District 3 this week by beating Danville, 51-24. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Bracken County lost to Bethlehem 70-20 last week, the largest margin of any game.
On the heels of Anthony Robinson and Jalen Washington, Frankfort has had great success on offense. Robinson leads the league in passing with 995 yards, while Washington has rushed for 649 yards this season. Tops in the league in receiving yards is the Polar Bears' Ryan May, with 537 yards on 19 catches.
Craig Foley's team made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,533 from 4,187. The advance stemmed from a 51-24 victory over the Admirals last week.
