The Norview Pilots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 20 points or more this season. They put the hurt on South Bronx Prep with a sharp 54-34 victory on Thursday.
Kiyah Fitchett was her usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with seven steals. The match was her fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Christful, who scored 17 points.
Norview pushed their record up to 4-3 with that victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 50 points. As for South Bronx Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.
Norview won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Gainesville at 9:00 p.m. on December 29th. Gainesville is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for South Bronx Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Evander Childs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Evander Childs will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 355th, while South Bronx Prep is ranked 125th).
