Austin-East has been on the road for two straight, but  on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Fulton Falcons at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Neither Austin-East nor Fulton posted many  goals in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.
 Austin-East's defense heads into the  game  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Monday. They had just enough and edged Farragut out  1-0. The  win was all the more spectacular given Austin-East's disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings  (they are ranked 206th, while Farragut is ranked 46th).

 Meanwhile,  Fulton unfortunately witnessed the end of their  four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Powell. Fulton has struggled against Powell recently, as their  match on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
 Austin-East's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Fulton, they now  have a losing record at 7-8.
 Everything went Austin-East's way against Fulton in their previous matchup  back in April of 2023 as Austin-East made off with  a  3-0 win. Will Austin-East repeat their success,  or does  Fulton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
