After losing to Ayersville the last time they met, Wayne Trace decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wayne Trace Raiders won by a  set and slipped past the Ayersville Pilots  3-2.
 Wayne Trace took Ayersville into a fifth set  where they got it done with a five-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 17-25, 20-25, 25-18,  15-10.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wayne Trace to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Caroline Winans, who  had 35  digs and two  aces. Winans is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had ten or more in the last six games she's  played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Olivia Zartman, who  had 14  digs and 30  assists.
 The  victory  got Wayne Trace back to even at 11-11. As for Ayersville, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record  this season.
 Wayne Trace and Lincolnview are set to duel  on Monday. As for Ayersville, they will take on North Central at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
