Tri-Township's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Addison Hendrixson, who went 6 for 12 en route to 16 points along with seven boards and three blocks, and Jayde Pryor, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds. Tri-Township smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Morgan Township only pulled down eight offensive boards.
Meanwhile, Kouts came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 points) and they left with even more momentum. They beat the Slicers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 52-41.
Kouts' victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-7. As for Tri-Township, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.
