Fowlerville barely beat Mason the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around.  On the hitting side, Fowlerville got a  massive  performance out of  Kiely Davis, who  went a perfect 5-for-5 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles. Those  two  doubles gave  Davis a new career-high.  Avery Borg was another key player,  going 3-for-5 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Fowlerville  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 19  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
Fowlerville is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Mason,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-10.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fowlerville will welcome Charlotte  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Mason, they will take on Holt at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Rams will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
