With a playoff win on the line, Seminole Ridge rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lakeland Dreadnaughts 53-0. The Hawks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Seminole Ridge found their leader in sophomore Aubrey Fogel, who threw for 274 yards and six touchdowns while completing 83.3% of her passes. Those six passing touchdowns set a new season-high mark for Fogel.

Seminole Ridge didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Chachi Saunders led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself.

Seminole Ridge pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.1 points on average over those games. As for Lakeland, they moved to 5-4 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Seminole Ridge has already played their next contest, a 33-0 victory against Martin County on the 28th. Lakeland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
