It was another big night for Israel Wright, who scored 17 points along with four steals for Bethesda Academy. Wright continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacari Mckay, who scored 11 points.
Thomas Heyward Academy's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Bethesda Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.
Thomas Heyward Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd. As for Bethesda Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the War Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Colleton Prep Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 303rd in South Carolina, while the are ranked 143rd in Georgia).
