Waterford lost to Caldwell back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Wildcats took down the Redskins 21-6. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Hayden Jones threw for 209 yards and a pair of TDs.

Waterford has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record.

Coming up, Waterford is taking a road trip to challenge Shenandoah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Caldwell, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Monroe Central at 7:00 p.m. on September 12.
