The Webb Schools' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Xajani Badkar, who almost dropped a triple-double on nine points, 13 rebounds, and ten steals. Badkar has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 13 times she's played. Geniya Parker was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds.
Western Christian suffered their closest loss since December 15, 2023 on Friday. They fell just short of Woodcrest Christian by a score of 37-34. Western Christian has not had much luck with Woodcrest Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Izzy Balderrama put forth a good effort for the losing side as she scored two points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Yamamoto, who scored eight points.
