Carolina Academy had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 14-40 walloping at St. Joseph's Catholic hands. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Carolina Academy off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving St. Joseph's Catholic a 1-0 record.
Next week, Carolina Academy take on Travelers Rest at 7:30 PM. As for St. Joseph's Catholic, they will face of against Ninety Six. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, St. Joseph's Catholic and Ninety Six will really light up the scoreboard.
