The Piedmont Academy Cougars will take on the First Presbyterian Day Vikings at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Piedmont Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.4  runs per game  this season.
 Piedmont Academy's pitching crew heads into the  game  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Thursday. Everything went their way against Mount de Sales Academy as Piedmont Academy made off with  a  17-0 victory. Considering the Cougars have won nine matches by more than seven  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
  Memphis Sweat made a big impact no matter where she played. She  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Sweat was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news, Piedmont Academy got a  massive  performance out of  Lilly Stowe, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Addison Jones, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-2.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Piedmont Academy  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .741. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mount de Sales Academy only posted  an  OBP of  .125.
 Meanwhile, First Presbyterian Day didn't have quite enough to beat Stratford Academy on Thursday and fell  6-5. The Vikings have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
  Alanna Ray made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-3 with a  home run and a  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Addison Arnold, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 The  win made it two in a row for Piedmont Academy and  bumps their season record up to 14-3. As for First Presbyterian Day, their loss dropped their record down to 18-5.
 The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Piedmont Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 4.6  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like First Presbyterian Day struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 3.3. The only question left is which team can snag more.
 Piedmont Academy skirted past First Presbyterian Day  4-3 in their previous meeting  on Tuesday. The rematch might be a little tougher for Piedmont Academy since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
