The North Eagles will take on the Horse Creek Academy Stallions at 7:30 a.m. on Friday. North knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten games -- so hopefully Horse Creek Academy likes a good challenge.
On Tuesday, North strolled past Ridge Spring-Monetta with points to spare, taking the game 75-56.

Stetson Stacks continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 8 for 15 en route to 21 points in addition to seven boards and seven steals. His evening made it 20 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jaleil Way, who went 8 of 17 on his way to 17 points and five rebounds.
North smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in ten consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Horse Creek Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Wagener-Salley on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 59-54 victory.
Horse Creek Academy's win came from a few key players North will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Aidan Walls, who posted 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kingston Hightower, who put up 15 points.
North is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.6 points per game. As for Horse Creek Academy, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-12.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as North and Horse Creek Academy are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. North hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 70.1 points per game. However, it's not like Horse Creek Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 57.8 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Everything came up roses for North against Horse Creek Academy in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured an 86-56 victory. Does North have another victory up their sleeve, or will Horse Creek Academy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
