TERRA Environmental won the last time they faced the Southwest Eagles, and things went their way on Wednesday too. TERRA Environmental simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Southwest 56-13 at home. With TERRA Environmental ahead 33-9 at the half, the game was all but over already.
It was another big night for Shannon Greene, who scored 11 points along with 8 rebounds. Greene is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Francesca Rodriguez was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 5 rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for TERRA Environmental and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Southwest, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. TERRA Environmental will take on LaSalle at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully LaSalle focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Tuesday. As for Southwest, they will be playing at home against Varela at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
