The Lincoln Patriots will square off against the Watertown Arrows at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Lincoln sitting on five straight wins and Watertown on four.
Lincoln had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Tea on Thursday. The Patriots were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Titans.
Lincoln never let Tea on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-13, 25-17.

Lincoln's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Julia Blom, who had 11 digs and five assists, and Hayden Kok, who had five digs and two aces. Blom is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played.
They weren't the only good servers: Lincoln was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Watertown earned a 3-1 victory over Roosevelt on Tuesday.
Watertown had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-15, 25-18, 25-20.
Lincoln better keep an eye on Andi Olson. She was instrumental in Watertown's win, getting 22 digs. Hensley Hogue was another key player, getting five digs and five aces.
Watertown's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Lincoln, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's contest: Lincoln has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.4 aces per game. However, it's not like Watertown struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.9 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
