The Rochester Rockets were the 47-40 winner over the Glenwood Titans when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Rochester was dealt a 60-24 defeat at the hands of Glenwood on Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Rochester has scored all season.
Rochester's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Tanner Beal, who scored four points along with seven rebounds, and Sean Plessa who scored three points.
Rochester's loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Glenwood, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rochester will play host again and welcome Triad, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Triad is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Glenwood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Champaign Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Champaign Central will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 214th, while Glenwood is ranked 70th).
