Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Warrenton). They blew past the Rainier Columbians 20-4 on Monday. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six  runs or more this season.
 Eli Neahring looked comfortable as he  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  strikeouts (two).
 On the hitting side,  Ryder Sturgell was a standout: he went 3-for-6 with four  runs, two  stolen bases,  and two  RBI. Those  four  runs gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Tyson McGrorty, who  went 2-for-5 with three  runs and three  RBI.
 Warrenton  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 15  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in six consecutive  matches.
Warrenton is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Rainier,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-10.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Warrenton will face off against Ilwaco at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Rainier, they will take on Banks at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Columbians will need to watch out since the Braves have now posted at least ten  runs  in their last four contests.
