A well-balanced attack led Mt. Carmel over Robinson in every quarter on their way to victory on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Mt. Carmel Golden Aces blew the Robinson Maroons out of the water with a 55-23 final score. The Golden Aces have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Mt. Carmel's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Maycee Randall, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. Randall's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Riley Hershey was another key player, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 11 assists.

Mt. Carmel pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Robinson, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-7.

Mt. Carmel and Evansville Reitz will compete for holiday cheer at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Robinson, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Terre Haute South Vigo at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
