The Neshaminy Skins had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They slipped by Conestoga 49-48. This was payback for Neshaminy, who suffered a 53-48 loss the last time these two teams met.
Emeer Coombs was his usual excellent self, scoring 24 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Townsend, who scored ten points along with seven assists and four steals.
Neshaminy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Conestoga, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.
Neshaminy will head out on the road to square off against the Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Council Rock North will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 347th, while the Skins are ranked 167th). As for Conestoga, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Royals at 7:00 p.m.
