Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Isaiah White, who went 8 of 13 on his way to 20 points. Those 20 points gave White a new career-high. Kadyn Shackelford was another key player, putting up 13 points and eight boards.
Even though they lost, North Valleys smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in four consecutive matches.
South Tahoe got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ronan Fisher out in front who went 5 for 11 en route to 12 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ryder Tannaci, who posted ten points in addition to six boards and five assists.
North Valleys' loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for South Tahoe, they pushed their record up to 16-5 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.
North Valleys will face off against Truckee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. North Valleys is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.5 points per game this season. As for South Tahoe, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wooster at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
