Alcester-Hudson entered their tilt with Freeman on Saturday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Emma Solberg, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double. Another player making a difference was  Jaeley Christensen, who  went 1-for-2 with one  triple and one  run.
Alcester-Hudson's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Freeman,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 0-2.
