Memphis University School's game  last Friday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Friday. They never let the Melrose Golden Wildcats onto the board and left with  a   23-0  win. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Owls just coasted through the last quarter.
  Brady Hughes was the offensive standout of the  contest as he rushed for 60 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 112 yards and a touchdown.
 The  victory  got Memphis University School back to even at 1-1. As for Melrose, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Memphis University School will welcome Montgomery Bell Academy  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Melrose, they will challenge Munford at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
