 The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was  Jeremy Williams, who rushed for 138 yards. Metrolina Christian Academy also got help from  Alex Germano, who showed off his sure hands for 98  receiving yards.
 Meanwhile, Covenant Day got the win against Harrells Christian Academy  back in August by a conclusive  28-6. The  contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  21-0.
 Metrolina Christian Academy now  has a losing record at 1-2. As for Covenant Day, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
 Metrolina Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid  victory over Covenant Day in their previous meeting  back in September of 2023, winning  27-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for Metrolina Christian Academy since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
