Rutherford will head out on the road to square off against Walton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Rutherford didn't get the result they wanted in their first match with Mosley on Thursday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (4-2), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.
Even though Walton has not done well against Pensacola Catholic recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Walton had just enough and edged Pensacola Catholic out 2-1. The win was just what Walton needed coming off of a 5-2 loss in their prior contest.
Rutherford has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6-2 record this season. As for Walton, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-2.
