Tenino strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They never let the Kiona-Benton Bears get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Beavers, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Preston Snider was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that he hit this season.

In other pitching news, Zeke Haskins looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

Back at the plate, Tenino got a massive performance out of Austin Gonia, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Mason Metcalf, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Tenino always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .531 or higher in three consecutive contests.

Tenino's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-0. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Kiona-Benton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tenino will venture away from home to square off against Crosspoint Christian at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Beavers will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Kiona-Benton, they will challenge Chelan at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
