After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Boonville, Eldon was happy to have turned things around  on Thursday. They walked away with  a   37-28  win over the Blair Oaks Falcons. The  victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won three in a row.
Eldon was led to victory by  Delaney Mcghay and  Corin Davis.  Mcghay  posted 14 points and three  steals, while  Davis  almost  dropped  a double-double with nine  points and ten  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Hannah Beanland, who  put up two  points.
 Eldon  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 18  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least nine  offensive boards in seven consecutive  matchups.
Eldon's win bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Blair Oaks, they dropped their record down to 9-15 with the  loss, which was their fifth straight  on the road.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eldon will host Hallsville  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Blair Oaks, they will challenge St. Elizabeth at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. St. Elizabeth will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  victory, something Blair Oaks surely won't give up without a fight.
