Rowland Hall was led to victory by Ian Mellor and Yeshi Tsering. Mellor scored 14 points, while Tsering scored 12 points along with five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for him. Luc Dowdle was another key contributor, scoring five points along with three steals.
Rowland Hall's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-9. As for Maeser Prep Academy, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.
Rowland Hall will be playing in front of their home fans against American Leadership Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (American Leadership Academy is ranked 117th, while Rowland Hall is ranked 128th). As for Maeser Prep Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Draper APA at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Draper APA is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.
