After losing to Lodi the last time they met, Belleville decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wildcats walked away with  a   2-0  win over the Blue Devils  on Saturday.

 Bree Ranguette paced Belleville's offense, picking up eight kills. Ranguette got some help from  Hayden Caskey and her 11 assists.  Korynn Potter controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
 Several Blue Devils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Fayth Hesselberg, who  had ten  digs and two  aces. Hesselberg has been hot recently, having  posted ten or more  digs the last four times she's  played.  Hailey Bell was another key player,  getting five  digs and three  aces.
Belleville's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Lodi, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record  this season.
 Belleville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  2-1  win against Richland Center on the 4th. As for Lodi, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  contest,  a  2-0  victory against Catholic Central on the 4th.
