Seneca and Northwestern are an even 5-5 against one another  since September of 2014, but  not for long. A feisty cat fight will be fought when  Bobcats takes on the Northwestern Wildcats at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Seneca will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak  dating back to last season alive.
 Seneca will bounce into Saturday's   match after  beating Eisenhower, who they hadn't topped in seven consecutive meetings. Seneca came out on top against Eisenhower by a score of  27-14  on Friday.
 Seneca got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Zach Moats out in front who rushed for 150 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries.  Rylan Harwood was another key player, rushing for 67 yards and two touchdowns.
 He was just one part of a punishing run game: Seneca was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 275  rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eisenhower only rushed for 149.
 Seneca wouldn't let Eisenhower keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Seneca can thank  Nick Olson and  Dominic Buscemi for forcing both of them.
 Meanwhile, Northwestern came up short against Iroquois on Friday and fell  20-12. The Wildcats have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Despite the  defeat, Northwestern got top-tier performance from   Brody Bickenhouser, who rushed for 140 yards and a touchdown.
 Seneca's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Northwestern, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
 Seneca didn't have too much breathing room in their  contest against Northwestern  in their previous matchup  back in October of 2023, but they still walked away with  a  20-15 win.
