Bishop Manogue took care of business in their home opener. They took their contest against Reed last Thursday 18-9. The score was all tied up at the break, but Bishop Manogue was the better team in the second half.
Meanwhile, Placer won against Whitney last week with a final score of 42-28.
Bishop Manogue's win lifted them to 1-0 while Placer's loss dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if Bishop Manogue can add another positive mark to their record or if Placer can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Bishop Manogue's step.
