The Cypress Centurions will take on the Bishop Amat Lancers at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the  game red-hot, with Cypress sitting on  three straight  victories and Bishop Amat on seven.
Cypress' defense heads into the  contest  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Sonora as they made off with  a  20-0 win. Given the Centurions' advantage  in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Raiders are ranked 236th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

A big part of Cypress'  victory came down to the chemistry between  Tymane Allen and her top target  Kailey Tilson. Allen threw for 196 yards and two  touchdowns while  Tilson picked up 100 receiving yards and a pair of  TDs. What's more,  Allen racked up 24  rushing yards, the most she's  had since back in September.
 Cypress didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Allie Scherer,  Franzcheskah De Joya,  and  Jasmyne Roberts picked up one apiece.
Meanwhile, Bishop Amat put their dominant defense on display in the team's seventh consecutive shutout  on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by  a  25-0 margin over St. Paul. The result was nothing new for the Lancers, who have now won 11 matchups by 20  points or more  so far this season.
Bishop Amat's win came from a few key players Cypress will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was  Lyla Terry, who rushed for 75 yards and one  score on only nine carries, and also threw for 45 yards and one  touchdown. Bishop Amat's leading receiver  Mya Partida was  Terry's top target yet again, picking up 20 receiving yards and one  TD, while also punching in one  score on the ground.
 Bishop Amat's run defense was locked in: St. Paul could only muster -0.2 yards per carry. While three picked up at least two  total tackles,  Mayahuel Villaneda stood above the rest. She picked up  a  sack and made two total tackles (2.0 for loss). Bishop Amat didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 9.1.
 Bishop Amat's defense also made the game a nightmare for  Sidney Galvan, racking up eight sacks. In that department,  Vivian Yamzon was the leader with seven.
 Cypress' win bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Bishop Amat, their victory bumped their record up to 21-5.
