Video: MaxPreps Preseason Junior All-American TeamFootball Editor Zack Poff takes a look at the best from the Class of 2020.The Class of 2020 has a chance to go down as one of the best ever. This quarterback class is very special. The running backs and wide receivers positions are loaded. Defensively, you can pick any position and get colleges excited.
We released our
Preseason All-American Team earlier this week and Texas led the way with the most players selected.
The same can't be said this time around as California leads the way with 12 players selected. Three other states had at least seven players represented too — Florida (8), Georgia (8), and Texas (7).
Five teams in the Top 25 had multiple players selected as No. 2 Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) and No. 15 Marietta (Ga.) lead the way, each with four players. No. 6 St. John's (Washington, D.C.) and No. 7 St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, Md.) had three picks each, and No. 13 Central (Miami, Fla.) and Saguaro (Scottsdale, Ariz.) notched two selections.
