Yulee is 0-5 against the Tigers since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Yulee Hornets will face off against the Andrew Jackson Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Yulee has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Yulee scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Parker 61-20 at home. That 41 point margin sets a new team best for Yulee this season.
Yulee found their leader in underclassman Rheyna Hilton, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 21 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hilton has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Macey Reynolds, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 16 rebounds.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Andrew Jackson at home against the Saints on Thursday as the squad secured a 45-10 win.
Yulee's victory ended a nine-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-16. As for Andrew Jackson, their win bumped their record up to 11-14.
Yulee was taken down by the Tigers 63-12 when the teams last played back in January of 2022. Can Yulee avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
