Blair Academy scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Peddie, 13-6. At the time, the Falcons were ranked 21st in the state, while the Bucs were 26th.
Luke Apuzzi of Lawrenceville School ran for the longest rushing play in Mid-Atlantic Prep this season against Hill School last week. Apuzzi scampered for 60 yards on the play and finished with 198 on the day as his team topped the Rams.
Lawrenceville School's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Big Red feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Randall West has thrown for 1,920 yards and 19 touchdowns this season, while Anthony Watkins has 46 catches for 830 yards.
Blair Academy was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after defeating Peddie. The Bucs came in at 21 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.
