Underwood has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in five consecutive pitching appearances. Underwood was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Ellie Leatham made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Alexis Jenson, who  went 3-for-4 with a  stolen base and two  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Timpview was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They fell victim to a  rough 10-0 loss at the hands of Springville. Having soared to a lofty ten  runs in the game before, Timpview's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
 Cedar Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Timpview, their loss  ended  a  seven-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 0-3.
