The Grandview Greyhounds''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their eighth straight loss. They suffered a rough 38-16 loss at the hands of North Central. Grandview lost against North Central in their previous head to head back in September of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 20-17 score last time.
Despite the loss, Grandview still got an impressive performance from Alejandro Garcia-diaz, who rushed for 162 yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Titus Jeffrey, who picked up 80 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Grandview's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 2-8. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 7-2 Clarkston and 7-2 Othello (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 60.4% over those games). As for North Central, their victory bumped their record up to 2-8.
Grandview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. North Central also has no future games currently scheduled.
