The Weatherford Kangaroos will challenge the Crowley Eagles at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both  have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Weatherford and three for Crowley.
 Last Friday, Weatherford came up short against Royse City  and fell  35-25.
 Weatherford wouldn't let Royse City keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. Weatherford can thank  Quinton Martinez and  Keegan Jackson for forcing all of them. Weatherford got some further help from  Micah Moore: he made 14 total tackles (1.0 for loss).
 Meanwhile, Crowley also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Tyler Legacy by a score of  32-25.
 Despite the  defeat, Crowley got top-tier performance from   Caleb Williams, who threw for 169 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushed for 66 yards on only nine carries.  Antayvious Ellis also played a phenomenal game despite the final result: he picked up 102  receiving yards.
 Weatherford's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Crowley, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
 Weatherford suffered a grim  50-29 defeat to Crowley  in their previous meeting  back in September of 2023. Can Weatherford avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
