Basketball Game Preview: Wakulla War Eagles vs. North Florida Christian Eagles

Wakulla hasn't had much luck against North Florida Christian recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Wakulla War Eagles just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the North Florida Christian Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Wakulla will be strutting in after a win while North Florida Christian will be coming in after a loss.

Wakulla will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Liberty County, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. Wakulla walked away with a 31-20 victory over Liberty County on Monday.

Wakulla found their leader in sophomore Amariyah Donaldson, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 boards. Donaldson's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Meanwhile, North Florida Christian suffered their biggest defeat since December 5, 2024 on Monday. They were dealt a 57-23 loss at the hands of Blountstown. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

North Florida Christian's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6. As for Wakulla, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.

Wakulla might still be hurting after the 56-30 defeat they got from North Florida Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can Wakulla avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
